We’re super carbon negative, sucking 620kg of CO2 out of the atmosphere for every kilogram of coffee sold. That’s 13kg of CO2 sucked per double espresso, or around a third of the CO2 emissions of the average Australian in one day!

How does that happen? For every kilo sold, we purchase 627kg of carbon offsets. Enough to neutralise the roughly 7kg carbon footprint of growing, roasting, and transporting our coffee, with 620kg extra for good measure.

Sourced from Fazenda Pinhal, awarded "Brazil’s Most Sustainable Farm" by the Brazil Specialty Coffee Association. Located in Campos das Vertentes, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The farms are managed by fifth generation coffee grower Pedro and his father Joao Newton. The family is dedicated to improving coffee quality and the surrounding environment through social projects and educational campaigns.
